China Requests North Korea’s Commitment to Denuclearization

Reporting from Sputnik, Monday (09/09/2018), It was summoned by the Chair of the Committee of the Chinese National People’s Congress, Li Zhanshu managed to meet the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un.

Li Zhanshu became China’s special representative to come to North Korea in the context of the country’s denuclearization talks.

“China is very appreciative of the efforts made by North Korea, we hope that North Korea and the US will be able to fulfill the conditions agreed during the meeting of leaders of the two countries,” Li said.

“We always adhere to goals such as denuclearization, peace and maintenance of stability, and also the issue of the Korean Peninsula through dialogue and consultation,” he continued.

He then added that China was ready to cooperate with the US and North Korea, and play a role in political problems on the Korean Peninsula.

Li himself is China’s special president, Xi Jinping to conclude a celebration that created the 70th anniversary of North Korea’s Kim Il-Sung in Pyongyang.
