Turkish Citizens Held Two-Year Coup Warning Failed

    atynews.com – Thousands of people reportedly commemorate Two years of failed coups in Turkey. The commemorative event was known as “Democracy and National Unity Day Meeting,” held at the “July 15 Martyrs’ Bridge” where 34 people were killed in clashes between civilians and soldiers on July 15 night.

    In his speech, Erdogan said that this event marked the rise of the Turks.

    “Turkey has closed the coup chapter and it will never be reopened,” Erdogan said.

    Those present at the event carried Turkish flags, shouting slogans such as, “martyrs do not die, undivided countries” and “every Turk was born a soldier.”

    A total of 250 people were killed across the country in a coup that only lasted for several hours.

    The people of Turkey then united against the perpetrators of the coup at the call of Erdogan. Many people who point to the brain of the action is Fethullah Gulen.
