Reported from the KNCA, Friday (07/13/2018), The talks were reported to discuss the return of the bodies of US soldiers who died in the Korean war.

This was conveyed by US State Department Spokesman Heather Nauert in a press release.

He said that the North has communicated with the United States to determine the date of its meeting.

“Vice Chairman Kim Yong-chol agreed in his dialogue with Minister Pompeo to have his team meet with the American team at Panmunjom on or about July 12 to move forward on the repatriation plan of the rest of US soldiers,” he said.

He also added that the meeting will be launched on Sunday (15/7) later.

“At noon on July 12 they contacted us and offered to meet on July 15. We will be ready,” he added.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un approved the repatriation of the bodies of US soldiers during a historic meeting with President Donald Trump last month.
