atynews.com – The successful process of ceasefire talks between Russia and Syrian rebels in Daraa has made the region more stable today.

Reported by Reuters on Saturday (7/7/2018), Now after the ceasefire, Only seen a few fighters crossing Daraa airspace.

As reported earlier, Syrian rebel forces agreed to a ceasefire with Russia after being heavily beaten by Russian and Syrian Forces.

The ceasefire talks started last week. But there was no satisfactory result from the meeting facilitated by Jordan.

Russian and Syrian troops immediately stepped up the battleground after the failure of last week’s ceasefire dialogue.

The Syrian security forces even claimed to have controlled most of Daraa territory that had been in the previous rebels.

The talks between the two parties took place on Friday (6/7) local time, supported by a facilitator, Jordan.
