atynews.com – US Army General Vincent Brooks meets with Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo in South Korea to discuss a freeze on military training in the region.

Reported from Military.com, Thursday (14/06/2018), the meeting occurred Wednesday night local time. The day after Trump Announced.

Brooks himself is a commander of the US Military Forces, the US-South Korean Combined Forces Command, and the United Nations Command.

Brooks, expected to step down this summer as commander in South Korea, was on the runway when Pompeo’s plane landed at Osan Air Base, south of Seoul.

In the talks, Mike explained the intention of President Trump to freeze joint military exercises and possible withdrawal of US troops.
