atynews.com – Japan has warned the United States over concrete steps by North Korea to process denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula.

Reported by the BBC on Thursday (14/6/018), it was delivered by the Japanese government in Tokyo following the news of the withdrawal of US troops from the Korean Peninsula.

Japan itself will not change their attitude and will continue military cooperation with the US in the region.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe even directly met President Donald Trump to ensure this after the US and North Korean summit is completed in Singapore.

As is known, Donald Trump said it would withdraw its troops from the Korean peninsula in the near future. The statement was made Trump on the sidelines of his meeting with Kim Jong Un in Singapore.

Japan says it will not withdraw its troops from the preparation of military feuds.

Japan’s Defense Minister, Itsunori Onodera, said his government considers the importance of joint exercises between the US and South Korea.

He said the presence of US military forces in South Korea is important to maintain the stability of East Asia.

“It’s up to the US and South Korea to decide on the continuation of their joint operations, we do not intend to change military training with the United States,” Onodera said.
